Sample Application - Wireless Data Router
When configured as a Wireless Data Router the DR-1500 can connect up to 3 RS232 instruments and multiple RS485 instruments wirelessly for remote monitoring or control.
The DR-1500 uses military developed Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum radio technology to provide a robust, secure radio network that is capable of connecting devices up to 3000 ft away indoors and up to 20 miles outdoors. Using several DR-1500’s together, you can create a repeater network to extend the range as far as your application demands.
