The DR-1500 Data Router is a powerful device that uploads multi-port serial data to a TCP/IP or radio network. The DR-1500 connects to and network enables up to 4 RS-232 serial devices simultaneously, while also acting as master on a multi-drop RS-485 network. In addition, the DR-1500 provides an SPDT relay, 2 digital open collector outputs and 3 digital inputs suitable for interfacing to mechanical switches or logic level circuits.

- The DR-1500 interfaces with all types of serial devices: instruments, sensors, card readers, bar code scanners, printers, etc.
- The DR-1500 includes a built-in Ethernet bridge, enabling serial data to be routed via a LAN or the internet to your host application.
- An optional integrated Radio module enables transmission of your data via 2.4GHz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum radio network, for applications where LAN or serial cabling is not possible (radio uses one serial port).
- Configuring the DR-1500 is simple using the built-in web-interface.
